Mountain View Church Goals
To serve the needs of families from our community.
To encourage & enable the discipleship of every member of our congregation.
We are located on the corner of the Old West Highway and Goldfield Rd. in Apache Junction, AZ.
We believe that...
The Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is the only true God. "Go make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." Matthew 28:19. God is eternal, almighty, holy, just, and merciful.
God created the heavens, the earth and all living things. Adam and Eve were created perfect, without sin, but then disobeyed God. Because of sin, all men are born sinners and are under God's judgement. "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23; and, "If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselbes and the truth is not in us." 1 John 1:8
Jesus Christ is God's only son: True God and True Man. He came to earth to be the Savior of the world. Christ died on the cross to pay for sins and was raised to life on the third day. "The Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world." 1 John 4:14
We receive Christ's forgiveness and are made holy through faith in Jesus Christ. Faith is a free gift of God. "For it is by grace that you have been saved through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works so that no one can boast." -Ephesians 2:8-9. "Faith comes by hearing the message of the gospel." -Romans 10:17

"Mountain View" Lutheran Church
It's easy to see where we got our name. The Superstition Mountains tower more than 5,000 feet above the desert. This great mountain of rock is a reminder of Jesus Christ the Rock of our Salvation. Christ is the foundation for faith and for our church.
